The fantasy football playoffs are here and every move becomes more important. Not to worry, there are plenty of good options both on the waiver wire and possibly your bench. Follow my rankings and advance to the next round.
Wide Receivers
Could Impress: Roddy White. He’s scored in the last two games and should have no problem torching a terrible Carolina secondary. In the last three weeks, the Panthers have allowed more than 750 yards and three scores. Something tells me the Falcons will find plenty of success through the air.
Could Disappoint: Dwayne Bowe. The newest resident of Revis Island this week is Bowe, who has already had trouble clicking with backup Tyler Palko. Bowe hasn’t seen the end zone since week 5, and won’t see it this week either.
Injury Replacement: Antonio Brown. How he’s still available in 42-percent of leagues is beyond me. Since stepping into the starting lineup for the injured Hines Ward in week 7, Brown has at least eight fantasy points in every game. That type of consistency is hard to find. Add Brown and enjoy it.

Tight Ends
Could Impress: Brandon Pettigrew. Clearly the top seven guys can be counted on, but if you’re not lucky enough to have one of those guys, Pettigrew is a good play this week. You’ll remember he torched the Vikings in the first matchup, racking up 11 catches for 112 yards. Expect more of the same with Minnesota’s linebackers dinged up coming into the matchup.
Could Disappoint: Jake Ballard. The Giants are still slinging the ball around at an impressive rate, but Eli Manning has stopped looking Jake Ballard’s way. He has four straight games with less than five fantasy points, and has not seen the end zone since week 9. There are better options out there.
Injury Replacement: Marcedes Lewis. He has yet to score a touchdown this season, but has an extremely favorable matchup against Tampa Bay this week. Blaine Gabbert has been looking the big fella’s way more often this season, and if you’re willing to take the gamble, something tells me it’ll pay off.
